IHR’s Smoke-Free Families Online Training can assist counselors and other staff working with families in a variety of settings to better understand the risks of secondhand smoke (SHS) and thirdhand smoke (THS) exposure, as well as exposure to aerosol from e-cigarettes and other electronic devices.

The Center of Excellence on LGBTQ+ Behavioral Health Equity eLearning

The Center of Excellence on LGBTQ+ Behavioral Health Equity provides behavioral health practitioners with vital information on supporting the population of people identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, two-spirit, and other diverse sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions.

These eLearning training modules equip behavioral health providers with information and practice tips to improve services for LGBTQ+ people in their care.

TRAIN Learning Management System

Train Massachusetts (TRAIN MA), an affiliate of the TRAIN Learning Network, is a national free online learning platform that provides self-paced training on various public health topics. It is available to all public health professionals in Massachusetts, including those just starting their careers. The Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health offers many courses for people who work in careers addressing substance use prevention, intervention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery. These self-paced trainings include BSAS 101, a brief training on the BSAS system of care, Introduction to the Substance Use Helpline, Substance Use Disorders 101, Opioid Overdose Prevention, and more.  New trainings are being added regularly.
