Students must be enrolled in the Addiction Counseling Education Program. The Capstone Practicum is coordinated mutually by the student and the Faculty member. The Faculty member oversees the Practicum Course.
This Program is designed to prepare the student for licensure and credentialing in an Addictions Counseling Career. With completion of all coursework and the final supervised work in the Practicum, the student will have completed the requirements to sit for the Massachusetts Counseling exam (LADC).
In general, students must be near the end of the educational requirements of the Program, before they begin the Capstone Practicum. The Practicum is offered at least 2x year. Summer Practicums will be considered based on availability.
