New MA Loan Repayment Program - applications due 1/30/23

On 11/17/2022, the Baker-Polito Administration Announced that the Executive Office of Health and Human Services has contracted with the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers to implement a $130 million loan repayment program with funding through the American Rescue Plan Act and The Opioid Recovery and Remediation Trust Fund.

Applications opened December 5, 2022, with eligible support loan repayment for SUD workers. Participants must make a 4-year commitment to the Commonwealth to receive this loan.

Through this program clinicians and patient support staff in primary care, behavioral health, and substance use with a job or job offer from an eligible organization in Massachusetts could be eligible for $25K to $300K in student loan repayment from the Commonwealth.

The application is open now through January 30th, 2023.
