Register today for the 28th New England School of Best Practices in Addictions Services!

This four-day event gives addiction and behavioral health professionals the opportunity for in-depth study of an area of special interest. The program includes advanced clinical and administrative skilled-based treatment in best practices and evidence-based practices treatment approaches, as well as a current and emerging best opioid treatment practices, clinical supervision,  management, and advanced prevention. 

In order to meet your continuing education needs during this challenging  year, we are pleased to take the 28th Annual Best Practices School learning community online:

  • Select from intensive courses each from across the continuum of treatment, prevention, and recovery.
  • Virtual courses will take place live by videoconference, allowing for participant interaction;
  • In addition to courses: plenary sessions, virtual community, and more!
  • Options are available to attend the full program, or any number of days.
  • Partial New England State Scholarships are available from most New England states.
  • Earn up to 28 contact hours.

Designed with the seasoned behavioral health professional in mind, this focuses heavily on evidence-based and promising approaches specific to addressing addiction. The courses offered are intended to appeal to a wide array of professionals working in diverse settings. In addition to clinical, clinical supervision, and prevention topics, some course offerings this year will again address the macro area of addiction and behavioral practice such as program or agency oversight and developing effective management skills. Courses will be offered in the following areas: clinical supervision foundations, clinical supervision recertification coursework, ethics, the management certification track, several tracks for established clinicians, DOT/SAP certification or re-certification, training of trainers, and, for the second year, a new advanced prevention track. The four-day program is a combination of daily plenary events and intensive workshops totaling up to 28 contact hours.
