The Retreat at Hampshire Woods is a short-term respite program for adults (18+) who need further stabilization for mental health and substance use. The program has 5 on-site beds and 8 mobile beds. The Retreats offers numerous services to clients both on-site and mobile, including in-house groups and case management, as well as connecting clients with outside resources. The program can tailor some aspects of programming to meet various client needs, such as recovery from substance use or mental health symptoms. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, dedicated, and a team-player.

YOUR ROLE AS A DIRECT CARE YOU WILL:

· Daily activities include providing direct services to program clients living in a respite setting

· Supporting clients' activities of daily living, administering medications as needed

· Develop professional and supportive relationships with clients and provide informal counseling and guidance with a person-centered focus

· Will facilitate daily groups (on the job training provided)

· Provide case management services

· Maintain a therapeutic milieu

· The ideal candidates will have a desire to work with members of our community who have mental illness

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but can be substituted for an abundance of heart and the ability to establish caring, meaningful relationships.

· Written and verbal communication skills are critical as is the ability to work with computers.

· All positions require a background screening including a CORI and motor vehicle record check, as well as a reliable vehicle for work use.
