Regional Recovery Coach/Recovery Coach Supervisor Learning Communities (RCLCs) provide an innovative approach to supporting and strengthening Massachusetts’ rapidly expanding addictions peer recovery workforce. They build capacity to uphold fidelity to the addictions peer recovery coaching model by fostering shared knowledge and communal resources.
The RCLC Lead must be able to run meetings in-person and online. They focus primarily on outreach, recruitment, and meeting facilitation. They will provide resources to community members, help to develop volunteer facilitators, and participate with online communications.
What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference..
- Co-Facilitate 90-minute regional meetings monthly in person
- Facilitate meetings while maintaining community norms and working agreements, fostering group consensus decision-making, and managing conflict
- Provide monthly report and time sheet to RCLC Manager
- Communicate status and issues regularly with RCLC Manager
- Support data collection activities (meeting survey, other activities as required)
Schedule: 10 hours per month
Requirements
- Must be an experienced Recovery Coach and/or a Recovery Coach Supervisor
- Must have a thorough understanding of the peer model
- Must have at least three (3) years in recovery
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Facilitation skills
- Familiarity with virtual engagement
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
- Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) preferred
- Experience with carrying out public engagement
