Peer Recovery Support Services are more important and impactful than ever before. We are looking for an experienced and committed person with lived experience to lead a statewide initiative to bring the Recovery Coach Community together to enhance skills, develop supportive relationships, and build a strong recovery community.
You will have the opportunity to build your team of 6 Regional Coordinators for each DPH Bureau of Addiction Services (BSAS) Region including Western, Central, Metrowest, Boston, Northeast, and Southeast Regions.
What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference
· Provide support, mentoring, and skills to the 6 Regional Coordinators
· Advance and advocate for Recovery Coach services
· Be part of a passionate and dedicated team that is exclusively focused on Recovery Coaching
· Collaborating with Regional Coordinators to assess Recovery Coach needs and develop support, information, and education to address the needs of Recovery Coaches.
· Be a leader in the Recovery Coach community to advocate and educate systems of care
Schedule: 20 Hours a week
Requirements
· Must have lived experience
· Must be an experienced Recovery Coach
· Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) strongly preferred
· Direct Recovery Coach Supervision Required
· Experience with Program Development
· Must have a thorough understanding of the peer model
· Demonstrated leadership experience
· Detail-oriented with strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
· High School Diploma or equivalent
