Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Program Manager - Project Impact to lead and grow our harm reduction initiatives. 

This position is responsible for the implementation of the Attorney General’s Office Harm Reduction Grant including statewide outreach to community partners including but not limited to Health Departments, Peer Recovery Supports, Treatment Services, and community coalitions.

What You Will Doing to Make a Difference...

  • Provide one-on-one support for individuals with SUD related matters and family members / loved ones by utilizing evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing. 
  • Understand and fully support the Peer Participatory Model. 
  • Assist Senior Vice President with quarterly report of Project Impact to be submitted in time. 
  • Develop and maintain connections with other SUD providers in the state of MA. 
  • Participate in Level/System of Care Meetings and/or other BSAS sponsored meetings. 
  • Participate in community activities that support and promote recovery. 
  • Achieve and maintain program and budget goals.
  • Driving throughout the state is required

Requirements

Qualifications/Credentials

  • Lived experience with sustained recovery is required
  • Has statewide experience with capacity building
  • Training in Harm Reduction
  • Have a deep understanding and appreciation for the recovery process 
  • Respects and advocates for all paths to recovery, including harm reduction
  • Have experience with public speaking
  • Have excellent organizational skills, communication skills and computer skills.      
  • Have project management experience
  • Have at least 3 years of experience with working in the field of SUD
  • Understands recovery-oriented levels of care
  • Have training in substance use recovery 
  • Have experience developing, managing, and supervising a team
