PROGRAM DIRECTOR, Recovery Center of HOPE (Ware, MA)

We have an exciting leadership opportunity at the Recovery Center of HOPE, https://www.recoverycenterofhope.org/ a developing peer recovery support center with a warm and supportive culture. Aligned with the Consortium’s mission, and demonstrating a commitment to social justice, the Program Director will have the opportunity to continue to develop an experienced and collaborative team as the center moves into an exciting and important time of new growth.

Primary responsibilities of the Recovery Center of HOPE Program Director include creating conditions for meaningful community engagement through a peer participatory process, program and fund development, networking and coalition building, staff supervision and development, budget management, collecting and reporting center progress and growth.

Qualifications include:

  • At least 5 years lived experience with substance addiction and recovery.
  • A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of principles of recovery, peer participatory model and multiple pathways of recovery.
  • Experience leading a team or direct mentoring and supervisory experience.
  • Experience with project or program management including budget knowledge or responsibilities.
  • This role requires strong interpersonal and relationship building skill set that cultivates connections in the local community and beyond. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may be substituted for education requirement.
  • This position requires this person has a demonstrated commitment to social justice and understanding of the universality of trauma and pathways toward healing.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media.

Salaried position, some nights and weekend hours required.
