Location: Westborough, MA - Inpatient New England Recovery Center Detoxification Program

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 7:00am-3:30pm 

Pay rate: $21.50/hour

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, HS Diploma/GED required.
  • Two years experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred.
  • Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies
  • Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.

 

The Patient Account Coordinator/Admissions Liaison is responsible for:

  • Maintaining the highest level of customer service and hospitality by being the first point of contact for all incoming inquiries and requests for services.
  • Working closely with the marketing, alumni, and clinical department to ensure continuous feedback on call quality, outbound referrals, and discharging clients.
  • Working with the appropriate clinical, nursing, and medical staff to ensure all admissions meet clinical and ASAM Patient Placement Criteria for admission.
  • Working the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization.
  • Managing the effective flow of communication and data within the following areas: Patient Accounts, Benefits Verification, Cash Collections.
  • Verifying patient insurance eligibility and patient responsibility.
  • Collecting all applicable copays, coinsurance and deductibles at time of service.
  • Tracking daily weekly patient accounts collections.
  • Processing all credit card, check and cash collections daily.
  • Maintaining a daily Cash Receipt Log.
  • Meeting with patients for payment agreements when necessary.
  • Assisting with patient inquires as needed regarding insurance and/or financials.
  • Working closely with clients & their families to answer billing inquiries.
  • Working closely with the Billing Department to help resolve billing inquiries and issues.
