The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking a Master's Level - Licensed Clinical Director to join our team at Grace House, a residential treatment program for mothers in early recovery. This large historical residential home is located in Northampton, MA. The program can house up to twelve mothers with children in a collective living environment, where they share space and resources in an effort to build a recovery community and encourage peaceful living.

Your role as a Master's Level - Licensed, Clinical Director:

The Clinical Director is responsible for the oversight and supervision of all clinical and treatment needs for up to twelve families. The Clinical Director’s role involves providing ongoing clinical supervision and consultation to the treatment team in order to provide effective services to the individuals served. The Clinical Director will interact with treatment team staff, clients, colleagues, and other community members on a regular basis. The goal is to develop and provide the most effective treatment services in order to supports our mother’s to maintain their recovery while living independently within the community. The goal of this program is to reunify mothers to their children (up to 18years of age).  The Clinical Director is responsible for some shared on-call responsibilities.

REQUIRMENTS:

 

  • Must be a Masters Level, Licensed Clinician
  • At least five years or more clinical experience in substance use disorder working with women and children
  • Ability to pass certification for CPR, First Aid
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to provide transportation on an as needed basis
  • Ability to counsel and support clients with co-occurring and/or substance use disorder diagnoses
  • Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care
  • Candidates that are Bilingual in Spanish/English are encouraged to apply 

SUCCESS FACTORS:

The ideal Clinical Director will require empathy and a high level of patience as minor and major setbacks often occur during the recovery process.  Previous experience with SUD required. Previous supervisory experience to effectively lead and support case managers will be instrumental in their success. Additionally, being a strong communicator, adaptable, with a balanced approach to feedback are key attributes that contribute to a successful Clinical Director.
