Driver

Location: Inpatient Treatment Programs in Weymouth, MA 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm 

Pay rate: $21.00/hour

Qualifications:

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED required
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must display the use appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, staff and regulatory agencies

The Driver is responsible for:

• Driving agency vehicles to meet program needs
• Transporting clients to assigned treatment facilities for interviews, medical appointments, and other program/client related issues
• Demonstrating respect for supervisors, co-workers, and clients
• Working with the Facility Coordinator regarding preventive maintenance for Campus vehicles
• Conducting daily safety checks and appropriate documentation before driving Campus vehicles
• Demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities and completing duties in the allotted time
• Responding to all life safety maintenance issues in a timely fashion
• Following all organizational and regulatory guidelines regarding the use of agency vehicles and transporting clients
• Demonstrating honesty and integrity at all times in the care of the clients and the use of the facility property
• Consistently arriving for work on time and adhering to the program’s attendance policies
• Strictly adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality policies when responding to inquiries for client information or copies of information
