With International Overdose Awareness Day coming up at the end of August SADODs July training will be focused on helping individuals and organizations think about how to remember folks who have died from overdose. There has been a marked increase in people dying from overdose and other SUD related causes over the past decade. We will examine some root causes and introduce ways that we can recognize these losses to help us all process grief on a personal as well as macro level. This training will also contain an optional component to recognize loss as a community. Details about how to participate in that will be sent out prior to the training.
