The workshop includes instructional experiences & materials for Supervisors of MA’s Youth & Young Adult Peer Support Workforce. Program directors, clinical coordinators and other supervisory staff will be introduced to effective strategies for managing, coaching, leading & mentoring those in direct care roles for adolescents and transitional age populations (13-25). Like its companion curriculum for direct care staff (Working with Youth & Young Adults for Recovery Coaches and Youth Serving Advocates), it is built around the Core Competencies for Peer Workers in Behavioral Health Services & is contextualized through targeted discussion informed by the following developmental silos Adolescents (13 – 18), Bridgers (16 – 20), Young Adults (18 – 25) & further focused on the following supervision components Role, Leadership & Mentorship
