Supervision is understood to be related to both professional development and better client/patient care outcomes. This training will provide participants with the opportunity to assess whether their use of supervision is consistent, seen as meaningful, and how it may be enhanced. Specific areas to be addressed include:
Presenting will be Steven Chisholm, MA, Professor and Coordinator of Drug and Alcohol Programs at North Shore Community College. Prior to teaching full-time, Mr. Chisholm was employed for twenty years at a large multi-site addiction treatment agency where he held many counseling, clinical supervisory, and leadership positions. His roles included oversight of the agency’s quality management department, clinical record reviews, research, and training across their continuum. In addition to offering various addiction & prevention training programs across New England, he also conducts local Recovery Coach Training.
