This train the trainer program is designed to give addiction professionals the tools to disseminate education about evidence-based treatments and best practices for caring for individuals with stimulant use disorders (StUD). Participants will review the epidemiology and impact of stimulants on society, how to recognize and respond to overamping events in the community and in medical settings, the available data regarding pharmacological management of stimulant use disorders and related health conditions, the evidence for different behavioral health interventions including contingency management, and strategies to incorporate treatment for StUD into already existing addiction treatment frameworks.
