New Tobacco Education Coordinators Orientation

The New Tobacco Education Coordinator (TEC) Orientation Schedule is Here!

Does your organization have a new TEC? We hold orientation every summer and winter to answer questions like the following:

• What am I supposed to be doing in my role as a TEC?
• What are the BSAS program requirements for addressing tobacco/nicotine use, including e-cigarettes?
• How can I start a tobacco/nicotine awareness group?
• What resources can I provide to clients? To other staff?
• We have a limited budget - how can I get posters and pamphlets?
• How can I involve co-workers in these efforts?

Orientation Training Dates

We will host three online New TEC Orientations later this month and in early October: 

• Tuesday, September 30, 2025 (2:00pm - 03:30pm)
• Wednesday, October 1, 2025 (2:00pm - 03:30pm)
• Wednesday, October 8, 2025 (10:00am - 11:30am)
