Providing culturally responsive supervision entails continuous self-reflection, a willingness to learn, and an acknowledgment of and appreciation for cultural identities and context.
This training session will center on understanding cultural competence and cultural humility, as well as the many layers of cultural identities. How do these concepts and lived experiences show up in our own lives? What impact do they have on providing and receiving supervision? In addition to providing the attendees with an opportunity to increase their self-awareness, this training will provide frameworks and tools to engage in feedback processes that foster trust and accountability.
Lastly, attendees will have a chance to explore what they need to sustain themselves as they engage in culturally responsive supervision.
