September is Recovery Month!

National Recovery Month began 35 years ago, in 1989. Over the years the celebration has grown and changed, but the purpose and meaning have remained the same: to celebrate all forms of recovery, the people who are living their best lives due to it, and those who are at every stage of the process in finding their own recovery, no matter what it looks like or how they get there.

This year, as usual, Massachusetts recovery communities are creating a multitude of events and opportunities to celebrate, and the Peer Recovery Support Centers (PRSCs) across the State have partnered with BSAS to share those events and opportunities far and wide.

Check out the Careers of Substance Trainings and Events Calendar for the month of September - each Sunday you will find a link to a flyer listing all of the PRSC events taking place that week, along with spotlights on particular centers and individuals who are centering Recovery in every aspect of their work.
