Pegasus House is a residential treatment and recovery program in Lawrence, Massachusetts, serving young women ages 18-29. Founded in 1985, it is part of The Psychological Center, Inc., a nonprofit organization. The program specializes in supporting Transitional Age Youth and Young Adults (TAYYA) who are navigating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Pegasus House is focusing on making a difference in the lives of young women under 30. Their message is clear: we are here to support you and help you build a fulfilling life in recovery.

The program combines trusted, evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Art Therapy, Life Skills Groups, and Mindfulness, to support healing, growth, and long-term success.

As one staff member shared:

“The number of residents who have graduated from Pegasus House and are now living sober, fulfilling lives is inspiring to other women who are considering treatment. We welcome challenging conversations because we believe they help us provide the best care possible. Our team, including Recovery Support staff, case managers, clinical staff, and our Program Director Donna Kivlin, all go above and beyond every day.”
