At Lynn Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), harm reduction is at the heart of daily operations, guiding compassionate and evidence-based care for individuals with opioid use disorder. The clinic provides comprehensive Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) with methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone, alongside vital supports like transportation assistance, food and hygiene kits, and emergency clothing to remove barriers to care. Staff respond to urgent needs by offering shelter referrals, benefits navigation, and medical connections, while partnering with the Lynn Police Department’s Behavioral Health Unit to operate a mobile crisis intervention team. Using real-time overdose data, the team conducts proactive outreach to connect people with treatment, shelter, and wraparound support. Through these efforts, Lynn CTC is meeting people where they are and helping them take meaningful steps toward recovery with dignity and respect.
