Call for Workshops for 2016 New England School of Addiction and Prevention Studies - Due February 5, 2016!

Published on

The New England Institute of Addiction Studies has a long history of presenting intensive courses conducted by outstanding faculty. Our planning committee, comprised of representatives from each of the six New England states, has been building our 2016 program based on identified regional priorities. We welcome submissions from potential faculty to teach at the 2016 New England School of Addiction and Prevention Studies, which will take place at Worcester State University in Worcester, Massachusetts from June 6 - 9, 2016.

The School was first held in 1969 as a way to offer an intensive residential course experience specific to the addiction field for new professionals. While the School continues to be an ideal learning experience for new professionals, it has evolved to offer a wide range of courses designed to educate anyone interested in learning more effective ways to address addiction. The New England Institute wishes to respond to the needs of the field, ensuring we help those on the front lines to best address the unique needs our communities, families and individuals.

Summer School proposals must be submitted via the online form by the end of the business day on Friday, February 5th!

Summer School presenters must have previous experience training in a full-day format. When you look at the rich list of faculty who have shared their expertise at our events over the years, it is clear that being connected to the Summer School is a special experience. Thank you for your interest, and we hope you will consider joining us in 2016!
