Location: Shirley, MA - Souza Baranowski Correctional Center. Medication for Opioid Use Disorder Program (MOUD)
Schedule: 40 hours per week including every other weekend $10 shift differential on Saturday and Sunday
Pay rate: $40.00-$44.00/hour

Qualifications:
- Valid MA nursing license from accredited school required
- Must have current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire
- Five to seven years of nursing experience in substance use disorder treatment and correctional healthcare required.
- Two years minimum of supervisory experience required.
- DOC experience preferred
The Senior Nurse is responsible for:
- Providing general nursing care to all patients in the Program in alignment with the Nurse job description and offers supervisory support during assigned shifts at SBCC.
- Working the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization including the ability to work more than 40 hours in a work week and travel to other program locations as needed to ensure patients receive daily medication.
- Assisting the nursing supervisor in providing supervisory support to the nursing team throughout the nursing shift at SBCC.
- Serving as the lead nurse and delegate/assign responsibilities to nursing staff as appropriate to ensure completion of all required tasks and duties throughout the scheduled shift.
- Providing on-site medication administration and other general nursing care, at assigned institution/correctional facility in accordance with program and institutional policies and procedures
- Utilizing proper use of body mechanics and standard precautions
- Identifying unsafe conditions and report them to supervisor immediately
- Maintaining regular work attendance and arrives on time for scheduled shift
- Attending and completing all mandatory education and informational sessions and provides documentation of required licensure/certification as needed.
- Remaining knowledgeable regarding the utilization of the program’s emergency preparedness plan and emergency response
- Promoting and supporting an environment of customer service, professionalism and excellence in clinical care
