Addiction Integration Institute - Applications Due July 31, 2015

The Addiction Technology Transfer Center Network, funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, has announced an Addiction Integration Institute - a Learning Collaborative focused on integration of addiction services with primary care. Applications were due July 31, 2015
The Institute is open to addiction service providers from across the nation, who will:
- Review the status of health homes and integration of addiction services in primary care environments and primary care in addiction services
- Discuss trends in organizational transformation to address the challenges and opportunities presented bi-directional integration
- Learn a range of integration programming ideas and designs for integrating addiction services into primary care and primary care into addiction services
- Review strategic plan models for short, medium, and long term strategies that could support integration services in addiction treatment agencies, and
- Review financing options for integrated care
Most of the collaborative work is done over the web and phone, but representatives must attend an opening meeting September 24-25, 2015, and a closing meeting June 9-10, 2016, in Wisconsin. The fee for participation is $2500.
