Racialized trauma can deeply impact how BIPOC individuals and communities experience grief, healing, and identity. This event focuses on creating supportive spaces where participants can reflect on their experiences, explore culturally tailored wellness practices, and move beyond survival and resilience to healing, connection, and joy.

Objectives

  • Participants will have a better understanding of racialized trauma and how it impacts the focus population.

  • Participants will be able to shift focus from resilience to joy, understanding the importance of rest, reset, and self-care so they can show up as their best selves while supporting the focus population.

  • Participants will be able to implement culturally responsive wellness and support strategies in their daily work with the focus population.
