Recovery Specialist Hiring Event

Center for Human Development, (CHD), will be hosting a hiring event on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 11am-3pm. We are seeking Experienced Recovery Specialist’s and a Med Specialist to work at CHD’s Grace House, a residential recovery home located in Northampton, MA.  

Both positions requirements:

• GED or High School Diploma required, associate’s degree or higher
• Must have a minimum of 2 years working in the substance use/mental health field.
• Written and verbal communication skills are critical as is the ability to work with computers.
• Female applicants encouraged to apply
• All positions require background screening including a CORI
• Candidates should have a valid driver's license (all drivers under the age of 21 must have 3 years of driving history), as well as a reliable vehicle.
• Those holding CPR/First Aid and MAP certification a plus.

In addition, the Med Specialist must have one year of working experience with medications or MAP or MOP certification, associate degree preferred.

Recovery Specialist:

Pay rate: $20.00/hr.

Schedule:

• 4pm-12am Wed-Sun or Tue-Sat (Full time)
• 12am-8am (Awake) Sun-Thu (Full time)
• 4pm-12am Sat-Sun (part time)

Med Specialist:

Pay rate: $21.50/hr.

Schedule:

12pm-8pm (some weekends required based on program needs-candidate must be flexible with availability).
