Description: BSAS invites supervisors across all levels of care to participate in a Supervisor Learning Community (SLC). This is a space to connect with peers, problem-solve real challenges, and strengthen your supervision practice in a supportive, practical environment. This opportunity builds on prior Supervisor Communities of Practice and SLC cohorts.
Each session is focused on a desired outcome of an identified topic, which could include crowd-sourcing resources for specific client concerns, generating innovative solutions to an aspect of the supervisory role, or articulating guidance requested on a particular policy from BSAS.
Learning occurs in a variety of formats, including didactic presentations on relevant topics, small group collaboration and resource sharing, application of new learning to real-world vignettes, and large group discussion.
The Learning Community will meet four times, on Wednesdays from 9-10.30am, every other week beginning April 29th, 2026.
At the conclusion of each session the SLC participants will choose the specific session focus for the following session. Facilitation of the Learning Community will rotate among experienced group leaders.
Community members who participate in all four sessions are eligible to join a reflective focus group afterwards & receive a gift card to share their experiences & help with planning future sessions.
