Description: 

The BSAS Learning Community is a structured, peer-led series for clinical and non clinical supervisors to build leadership skills, share experiences, and practice strategies they can apply directly in their programs. Each session blends brief teaching segments, group discussion, and breakout practice so participants walk away with practical tools they can use right away.



Learning Objectives: 

  • Upon completion of all four sessions, participants will be able to:
  • Identify at least one new leadership strategy to apply in your supervision practice at your site, or within your place of employment.
  • Evaluate approaches for supporting staff well-being and Identify strategies that promote retention within teams.
  • Discuss methods of fostering collaboration and purpose at least one action to strengthen team culture.
  • Practice feedback techniques and demonstrate how to adapt them to different supervision scenarios.  

 

Format:

  • Monthly, peer-led, solution-focused sessions.
  • 90 minutes each - second Wednesday of every month, from 9:00 am - 10:30 am.

  • First session includes a 20-minute overview of Learning Communities vs. Communities of Practice.
  • Combination of teaching, discussion, breakout practie, practical takeaway tool, and networking.
