Event description

No

Due to the unique nature of the Recovery Coach Role, making ethical decisions is a critical part of the everyday. The CCAR Ethical Considerations workshop allows for the participant to explore different ethical challenges that may come up during the workday while guiding the participant through their own process of decision making. This will lead to the creation of their own code of ethics which will facilitate their coaching recovery while navigating today’s complex healthcare systems.

During this workshop, participants will: Understand what ethics are and why ethics are so important when performing Recovery Coach Services; Learn how to stay in your lane as a recovery coach;
Understand the decision making process; Develop guidelines for making ethical decisions; and Apply the new learning to your everyday work as a RC.

Computer and internet connection required.
