The Parenting in Recovery and Early Childhood Trauma Teams from IHR invite BSAS Residential Program staff to join us for a 4-part Learning Collaborative on Supporting DCF-Involved Families.

 

The Learning Collaboratives will offer resources and information, and also offer an opportunity to brainstorm, share and discuss effective ways to work with DCF using a recovery-oriented, trauma informed approach in supporting parents navigating the challenges associated with DCF involvement and recovery.

 

 

Topics include:

Feb. 6: Visitation & Parental Rights 

Feb. 27: Advocating with DCF and Working with DCF SUD Coordinators 

March 5: Trauma-Informed Collaboration and Communication

March 26: Recurrence of Symptoms: How to Prepare and Deal with Recovery Challenges

 

Come with questions and ideas and be ready to listen and share- we will learn together!
