As co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders become increasingly common, mental health professionals must be prepared to address both diagnoses in tandem. This comprehensive seminar equips mental health practitioners with advanced clinical skills for accurately diagnosing, engaging, and supporting clients experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Participants will explore evidence-based assessment techniques, integrated treatment approaches, and specialized intervention strategies that address the complex interplay between mental health and substance use conditions. The seminar includes detailed case studies, hands-on skill-building exercises, and collaborative development of treatment planning. This training will be led by Devin Stevenson, Clinical Director, Victory Programs.
