WORKSHOP INFORMATION
This course will focus on the etiology and symptoms of the Cluster B Personality Disorders (Antisocial, Borderline, Histrionic, and Narcissistic) and their impact upon the client's thinking, emotions, and behaviors. Effective strategies to maximize successful interactions with clients with Cluster B Personality Disorders will be discussed.
Objectives:
Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
1. To identify prevalent symptoms of Cluster B Personality Disorders
2. To understand the effects of Cluster B Personality Disorders on thinking, emotions, and behaviors
3. To discuss the effects of substances of abuse on the symptoms of Cluster B Personality Disorders
4. To overview the current "best practice models" utilized to stabilize and treat clients with Cluster B Personality Disorders
5. To identify the four different types of Cluster B Personality Disorders.
