Chronic Use of Marijuana in Teens & Young Adults

This collaborative workshop will support and enhance the skills of those who work with youth and young adults, and help increase their effectiveness in addressing their clients' use of marijuana.

Objectives:
Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
Identify their own biases about marijuana and explore the reasons underlying its use.
Identify the physical, behavioral, psychological, and emotional impact of chronic marijuana use on adolescents.
Learn strategies to engage youth in exploration about their use without increasing defensiveness.
