Careers of Substance receives an Innovation Award from the Annapolis Coalition on the Behavioral Health Workforce

In July, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) received an Innovation Award from the Annapolis Coalition on the Behavioral Health Workforce, a national nonprofit dedicated to improving behavioral health care by strengthening the mental health and addiction workforce. The Award recognizes BSAS for its “outstanding work in developing and maintaining the Careers of Substance website.” The Annapolis Coalition commended Careers of Substance for its overall design quality, functionality, breadth of content, practical utility, and ongoing commitment to refining and maintaining the site. The Annapolis Coalition periodically recognizes “particularly noteworthy efforts” by organizations working to address the substance use workforce problem.
