Co-Occurring Disorders Virtual Community of Practice 2017-18
The Co-Occurring Disorders Virtual Community of Practice (CoP) is for community-based behavioral health providers who work with adolescents who have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
This six session online training series will provide licensed and license-eligible clinicians who work in a variety of settings with an opportunity to participate in discussions about providing care to young people with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Each online meeting will consist of a brief presentation on a topic pertaining to co-occurring disorders, a brief presentation illustrating the topic, and facilitated discussion and resource sharing.
Note: The CoP is NOT a series of single trainings but rather an opportunity for people to be a part of a larger community of practice. The six online meetings are designed to offer support to a cohort of clinicians who are interested in developing their knowledge and skills related to clinical practice with young people with co-occurring disorders and their families.
