VIRTUAL: Embodied Story Work with Youth and Young Adults: Utilizing Theatre and Storytelling Elements in Group Practice (641)

Event description

No

Training Description:

This training is for clinicians, staff, and anyone working with Youth and Young Adults who are looking to integrate embodied interventions into their sessions with confidence.

Storytelling and Theatre don’t have to be scary! In fact, they can encourage connection, foster self-disclosure and discovery, deepen engagement, and enliven the group process. This work is especially effective for those who struggle with verbal processing.

During this training, we will walk through and process a sample group session together. Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of the use of embodied story work as well as several exercises that can be immediately implemented in their practice. This workshop will require participants to actively engage, turn cameras on, and/or verbally share.
