Massachusetts Loan Repayment Program for Health Professionals - Applications Due September 30, 2016

Published on

Massachusetts offers loan repayment programs for primary health care professionals in a variety of disciplines, including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and behavioral and mental health (including substance use disorder) clinicians. The goal of these programs is to provide educational loan repayment as an incentive for primary care health professionals to practice in communities where significant shortages of health care providers and barriers to access have been identified. Health professionals must be licensed, among other eligibility criteria. Find the Loan Repayment Plan Overview here for more information.

Applications for the Massachusetts Loan Repayment Program for Health Professionals are being accepted now through September 30th, 2016, and must be postmarked no later than September 30th in order to be accepted for review. Be sure to read the guide and consult with your employer before completing an application. No more than three applications per employer will be reviewed. Award notifications are anticipated to be made in fall 2016.
