Recovery Coach

Recovery Coach

We are looking for people in recovery to support individuals in the early stages of recovery by helping to remove barriers and obstacles for those new to the system of care. This is a non-clinical, strength based peer-to-peer support service in which you will provide people with linkages to the recovery community. As a Recovery Coach you will serve as a personal guide and mentor and help individuals understand the system of care and how to navigate it.

Recovery Coach ARMS program - For Transition Aged Youth and Young adults at Massachusetts General Hospital (Job posting number 3104247)

The Recovery Coach (RC) is considered an essential, non-clinical member of the care team. This RC will provide peer recovery support services to a ARMS patients with substance use disorder (SUD) and will assist ARMS patients in achieving and sustaining recovery as defined by each individual ARMS patient. This position will facilitate ARMS patient access to recovery-oriented substance use disorder treatment, resources, and community recovery groups.

Young Adult Empowerment Collaborative Site Coordinator

The site coordinator will be the designated manager for the Young Adult Empowerment Collaborative of Western Massachusetts (YAEC) efforts to impact opioid-affected young adults, ages 16-24 years old in Berkshire, Franklin/North Quabbin, Hampden, and Hampshire Counties. One of six sites, YAEC is funded by the U. S. Department of Justice Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (DOJ/OJJDP) Opioid Affective Youth Initiative (OAYI).

The Recovery Support Navigator will be responsible for case management services that engage and retain opioid dependent individuals being released from state prison into medication assisted treatment in the community.
