For the past 3 years, the Office of Problem Gambling Services has brought together a variety of community partners, community members, and advocacy groups in one space to participate in annual Stakeholder Listening Sessions (SLSs). These sessions are held in the casino host communities with the goals of:
Last year, we held two Stakeholder’s Listening Sessions (SLS), and with the guidance from our Stakeholders, we received insight on culturally appropriate strategies that were extremely helpful to inform our programmatic efforts. These Sessions will serve as an opportunity for you and the rest of your community to make recommendations and provide insight and guidance in regards to the culturally appropriate stages for the implementation of the Strategic Plan. To ensure that stakeholders serving communities directly impacted by problem gambling can access this event, we will be hosting SLSs in Springfield and Revere.
